I have had accounts with them for 16 years. My chequing account, one business acct and a mortgage are with them. I have never bounced a cheque, been overdrawn or made a late payment. They will not issue me a cc even if I secure it with the property. I have an unpaid debt of $800+ on my file so they said too bad. At the start of the month they put a cheque though early and it bounced. I called them on it and they said too bad. You should not write post dated cheques. I already had this conversation with them before. It is my child support payment and it had to be at the ex's on time thus it is postdated ( my ex is a moron for depositing it early but that is another story ) . I'll be damned if their stupidity will lower my credit scores by making it look like I bounce cheques. I contacted head office and they refused to do anything about it. Now I am mad. I contacted another bank and arranged to transfer all my business to them. They approved me for a Visa with a $6200 CL plus my mortgage % went from 6.85 to 5.35% and they paid all fees except $200. Now for the best part. My mom has several rental properties. Twelve are financed through TD. She is switching them all to alternative lenders and I was present when she went to the branch and tore a strip off the managers. Payback is a bit*h.
