THIS IS RETALIATION FOR MY "TURNING IN" SECURITY FOR HARASSMENT...AND PAYING OFF MY BT 2 WEEKS AFTER I GOT IT!!!
Dispute it, George, maybe they will delete it - it's still a positive tradeline, and they do so like to delete those.
I want to second that: TRANSUNION ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS ! Why? Because they purport to be a security company, but they allow this to happen: If a fraudster gets only your name and SSN he can establish a Transunion account with any address and e-mail he chooses with a secret question/answer that you do not know and you are locked out FOREVER! The idiots in customer service claim that they can lock an account, but not delete it and that you cannot ever again establish a new account in your social security number !! Of course that cannot be true, it's just that nobody with any IT knowledge answers the phone. They are idiots with thick foreign accents. Since you get passed around between several of these idiots during a call, all of whom ask for your name, address and SSN, it makes you also wonder how well Transunion has been able to vet all these faraway people
