I just applied for a new home purchase and have spoken with the loan officer about things that needed to be updated on my credit report. Well I have payed these debts months ago, because I knew I was going to look into purchasing my home, and it is still showing that the debt is not satisfied. With that being said, it was also showed on my credit reports that a few things on my credit report states that things are being disputed by the consumer, which yes I did disbute this information, because it wasn't mine, and I still don't feel the need to pay for something that doesn't belong to me. My question is to creditnet and others, if I disputed this information on my credit report, and have done this months even years ago, why does it still state on my credit report that Account in dispute - reported by subscriber (FCBA), but on the line of amount and account status has lines through with 0 balances. I am so confused about this.
#2, I have paid off a lot of the debt to creditors for example I have gotten a Judgement on one of the debt from an attorney, but the original creditor is still reporting the debt as not satisfied, but I have the letter from the attorney where it was satisfied, but it also has different acct numbers on the letter, with the name as GE Money Bank, but on Credit Report GECRB/SAMS CLUB. How do I get this satisfied with both, should I get a copy of the Judgement from the courts being satisfied and send it to Sams or should I contact the attorney where I sent the check to in order for them to take care of what they suppose to???? Thanks for your immediate attention in this matter.
