TU makes no sense!

In May, I got my TU report for the first time in several months, couple years. There were 2 judgements, 5 bad accounts, and 1 brand new installment loan. My score was 586.

In June and July, 3 disputed accounts were dropped and one judgement. My score went to 601. That left 1 judgement, 2 collection accounts, and the one installment loan.

Now, August, the other judgement is gone. I have 4 months on the installment loan, so it is still fairly new, but it is never late. I have the 2 collection accounts, both medical bills. One is $120 and one is $276. I was expecting my score to jump a little more with the other judgement gone.

Guess what? My score is now 459!! WTH?!? This is worse than it was when I had 7 derogs and one new good account. Now I have 2 derogs and one fairly new account. I called them and asked them if they could tell me why and they said because I had 2/3 derogs. I said well, I did have 7/8 derogs, and now it is much better. She just "well, ma'am"ed me and had no answers.

    Talk about frustrating!

After my first 3 deletes (May) on TU I dropped from 613 to 595.

After 3 more deletes (June) still 595!

After 3 more dletes (July) still 595!

Anyway, when I was disputing a 2 year old inquiry, I asked the CSR about the stagnant score. He offered that he had seen large score jumps (as much as 100 points) when the laast neg came off.

    Well, I'm down to 3 negs - 2 CAs and a profit/loss writeoff utility.

The utility wants proof I lived somewhere else, so I think I'll negotiate a "pay for deletion" on that.

The final 2 have not responded to my vallidation demands. I'm rethinking my strategies here and hoping to get them off soon.
