I sent in a dispute to tu and they sent me back some form letter stating that if I was using a credit repair service (?) to list the name and contact them and mail this information back. First of all, I am not using a credit repair service! And what I am disputing is a true error! How do I proceed? Do I call? Ignore the letter? The clock is ticking on them they only have a few more days to respond.

    Experts please help!!?!?!?!?

I got the same one, but my disputes continued. I didn't respond to the letter.

Let the clock run out on them.
If they want to rome while the fiddle burns that's their problem, let them pay the consciences!

They never take it off the report when we make it right so why should we take it off the docket when they do?

Just file the letter with everything else. they are just trying to get consumers using CRO's to send it in so they can start pinpointing the letters sent by a CRO.

I guess they figure if someone is using a CRO, they are going to think they have to send it in.

I just filed it in my file in case they start refusing to dispute. Although I have to say TU has been good to me. They are investigating everything as often as I ask. The stuff is inaccurate and it comes off eventually.
