So after working with a TU rep for about a week to get tihngs in order, and after being told by said rep I was good to go for online access, I get this: We cannot deliver your TransUnion Personal Credit Report & Score online because we are unable to confirm your identity. For your security, we must block online access to your TransUnion Personal Credit Report & Score through 11:59 p.m., Central Time, [06/11/2002]. You will not be charged for this transaction. You may still receive your Report & Score by U.S. Mail. ~~~~~~~~~~~
I get the same message. This is after I plugged in everything EXACTLY as it appeared in a recent previous TU report.
Seems to me that TU isn't as comfortable as EQ and Ex with the entire online process I read somewhere that fees for consumer access have been a bonanza for the CRAs. I'm curious as to why TU doesn't want to cash in. My friend still can't access his online even though he enters all info exactly as it is on his report and has sent numerous letters. I'm glad that I can easily access mine, but I wish they had a service like CreditWatch or Expert. I know that people say TU isn't used much, but it is the company that Amex, Citi and Discover AR for me. Wait a minute. At $8 a pop, they are probably making MORE. Hmmmmmmm
