As some of you know I have done all my credit repair myself. It was done online and only one actual snail mail was sent out in my venture :) All this started about May of 2015 and at that time I was a 614 with all the CB. With all the work and time I have put in and with some suggestions and a TON of research and reading (on this site mainly) I am happy to say that I am now a shiny 757 across the board, that's with a judgement that still haunts me but as time passes it doesn't hurt the score much. I am greatly appreciative for the in site and the replies to questions no matter how trivial I thought they may be I was glad to get solid info! For all the ones trying to get there credit in order trust me it can be done with time and a bunch of PATIENCE! Now off to look into homes :)

Congratulations Adogg! What a great testimonial! You put in a lot of time and hard work, so it's certainly a much-deserved sucess.

If you don't mind, I'd really appreciate if you left a quick testimonial under the Sticky at the top of the forum as well. Here's a link: Creditnet Testimonials

Thanks, and good luck with the home search! Very excited to hear more about that as well!

Awesome to hear! Every now and then I need to read a success story to stay motivated! And very interesting--only one piece of snail mail! I've been doing all of my repairs via snail mail. I love reading both methods, and seeing which one works best on an individual basis!

also admin--I tried clicking on the link you posted, and it said "page not found." Thought I'd pass it along :)

Glad to hear that this helps! I have found that the best way to get your credit to grow is to pay smaller bills with a CC and pay it off every month. That way it shows as a paid tradeline and it's almost like watering a plant :)

65% of your FICO scores depends upon your payment history and credit utilization. Paying smaller bills with your credit card every month builds regular positive payment history while keeping your credit utilization low, which is why you've found it to be the best way to improve your credit. It really is that simple! Get some credit, use it to make small purchases, and make payment on time and in full each month. :)
