I've already established USAA accounts few days ago.. they didn't do credit check but they did TeleCheck without any problems... I'm thinking of asking for USAA's auto insurance quote this upcoming April since my policy with American Family Insurance will end at that time (American Family DOES NOT have insurance in Florida because I'm moving there soon) What does USAA auto insurance check? will they pull credit report(s)? ALOT OF PEOPLE USE FAKE ADDRESSES AND BUSINESSES TO NOT PAY THEIR FULL PREMIUM< THIS IS FRAUD > CREDIT REPORTS ARE VERIFICATION OF RESIDENCE. oh yeah, they are financing out a 6 or 12 month policy (always pay in full, btw, finance charges are stupid high on insurance policies). the pay-in-full discount is a nice way of saying you'll be so screwed to the tune of hundreds of dollars for asking for 5 payment/6months or 11/12 setup. lol like seriously $200-500 i've seen as the "finance rate" for 6 months in the past. progressive is notorious for super high finance rates.
USAA doesn't charge a real finance charge on auto premiums. They charge either 3 or 4 dollars a month (or payment if you do other than monthly) as a service charge. So if you have other high interest debt, you may be paying as much in interest.
