    Equifax started out 4/10 with:
    1 judgement
    4 paid collections
    2 90 day+
    1 120 day+
    Score of 585
    Today it's
    No judgments
    No collections
    2 90 day+
Score of 643, though :( I have a feeling this is as good as it's gonna get, so I am going for my mortgage loan on June 1. Can get no futher with the 90 days, already disputed twice, goodwill letters, everything. The only good thing is that although I have 90 days plus on both accounts, on one account I show as not being late for the past 5 years, and on the other for almost 2. Will this help my mortgage score?

I can't figure this out though...
Experian is the same, but they kept the judgment, although it says it's satisfied. Score of 680, though. But they have the exact same info PLUS the judgment!! What? Waiting for TU to send me back report and score after disputes - I had to go through the mail for that one since they wouldn't accept anything on-line from me.

Still.... 643 is much better than 500 something right now!

I already have disputed the 90 days to no avail - but, I am going to tell Providian to place a "disputed by consumer" and see if it goes away...

How did I get rid of my paid collections?

I pulled Experian and Equifax, compared the two reports and the paid collections were being reported unequally on both. I made a list of the CAs and the amounts and dates involved, sent letters with little green cards to them telling them that they were incorrectly reporting the accounts as unpaid and since they had ample time to correct but did not, and was considering contacting an attorney because of their blatant disregard for the FCRA, (not the FDCPA), for negligent or willful disregard for the responsibilities of a furnisher of information. I was very civil but very direct in my letters. I sent them to their home office, wherever that was - in charge of the legal department or their office of compliance. I also ccd the BBB in their area.

The first one I heard back from called and apologized, and said he was putting in for deletion. I didn't know I could ask for UDF at that point, so I asked for a letter of confirmation, which he sent. The second just deleted.
The third, I had a really hard time with and wrote John Cornyn (Texas AG) a formal dispute and cc:d the company. By this time I realized that faxes are cheaper. The Texas AGs office forwarded a letter from the CAs people to me apologizing and stating they were asking for deletion.
The fourth had asked for deletion and had sent me a UDF, but I had to dispute to get that one taken off, because EQ wouldn't take my copy of the UDF that they hadn't received (supposedly). Anyway, That's how to do it.

Tier it out. Mail or fax the CA and cc the BBB. Then 2nd letter mail the AG and cc the CA. Use the FCRA if you can, but it only works with furnishers of information. Remember, you can claim that they aren't reporting correctly, DON'T tell them what isn't correct on which report. To figure it out, they would have to do a hard inquiry on your report, and guess what? It's not a permissable purpose because it's already PAID and they are no longer a creditor or collector for that account. So they can't. So what are they going to do? Take a chance that someone could really go into court with evidence that they have been harmed by their inability to report correctly and then have to pay OR just ask for deletion of the item?

It's funny, in all the letters I got back, they state,"due to the failure of the CRA to report the items correctly they are deleting it".

Whatever, it worked 100% for me.

I just can't figure out how to get rid of these 90 dayers EXCEPT as I looked closer at my report today, they are coming up as unknown dates, so maybe I will use that.

I did have one more unpaid collection that disappeared that was kind of weird. I had the "furnisher of information" place a notation on the account that stated the account was in dispute and then it disappeared a month later. I did not dispute it through the CRA, because that was my last resort.
So that's why I am thinking about asking for "consumer places in dispute" and maybe it will go away...

I'm a newbie here and just getting started trying to clean up report. Originally I was going to pay off all my creditors and be done with it but i found out that that will lower my score and it is possible many of the items/amounts could be wrong so I am going to work with credit-repair bureaus.

One thing I've seen on this thread is the 'customers disputes'.

    I pulled my report and saw;

    TransUnion] Dispute resolved; customer disagrees
[Experian] Subscriber reports dispute resolved - consumer disagrees.
    [Equifax]

I never disputed this, the only thing I did recenlt was make a (small) payment and agree to make monthlies. I'm getting the feeling that was a b-ad idea.
