Just me-
Get real! Read through all of her posts, then make a judgement call. We can not read the minds of other people, or KNOW what their debts are without them telling us.

It is ENTIRELY at each person discretion to take the advice they are given or not. It should also be the individuals priority to tell us WHAT the amount in reference is.

Personally I don't think Pulse read the FDCPA or FCRA, but alas we will never know.

I'll tell you who let Pulse down. Pulse did. She jumped into something without knowing what she really was doing. Period. Sure people give advice, good and bad, but in the end it is up to you to make an EDUCATED decision as to how to proceed.

I don't know about you, but I'm here because I had a very sick parent die on me with no life insurance. I had scores near 800 just a few years ago. I was left holding the bag and had to declare BK. I'm sorry to hear you couldn't manage YOUR finances wisely and thus wound up here.

Good call, LKH. We can only offer advice, we can't think for people. Until you are paying for this advice, take it or leave it and quit complaining.

Furthermore, pulse is the one who started blaming everyone else if I recall correctly - am I mistaken????

What I've seen lately is an influx of newbies attacking the board.Anyone else been seeing this.

Well, I've noticed an influx of newbies but I'm not certain I've noticed the attacking part. I think the influx of newbies is a good thing in general.

I'll tell you what I am starting to see and it makes me nervous - CAs appear to be catching on and validating more often.....

I've noticed the same thing. Wouldn't it be funny if one or more collection agencies who monitored this board actually dispatched an employee or two to "participate" as someone who "got burned" and then subsequently warned everyone not to even attempt to exercise their federally guaranteed debtor rights? Now that would be a hoot, wouldn't it? :)
