I'm not sure what credit bureau they pulled yet, but yestday evening I was approved in the store for a WFNNB Pottery Barn credit card with a 19.0% interest rate and a $1,500 credit limit. The only reason I did so was because I was purchasing a Christmas present totaling $950 and figured the hard inquiry was worth 10% off and another $25 gift certificate in January for earning points. I will pay it off immediately.

I have no derogs, 5 relatively new tradelines and one positive closed tradeline (auto loan) and my credit scores at the time were:

    Trans Union FAKO 643
    Trans Union FICO 696
    Equifax FICO 705
    Experian FICO 714
    WorthKnowing.com 44

Congrats. Pottery Barn is a great store.

I applied on-line and was declined.:(

I didn't understand, I have 3 other accounts that are issued by WFNNB.

Next time (6 mos) I apply in the store.

I've been considering this one for a while, please post when you know which CRA. Thanks for the info, personally I've been very curious!

    Wealth-
You should call credit service and mention that you have other WFNNB accounts. I was declined for having too many inquires and called and they issued a card for me. My scores are in the low 600's

I'm pretty sure they pulled Experian. Two days have passed and there have been no inquiries to my Trans Union or Equifax reports.

Do you have the phone number to call? I have misplaced my denial letter from them.

    I'll call...hey it's worth a shot.

    Thanks
