I have all positive tradelines on this report. I am in NJ and the mills website doesn't have too much.
The HHbank credit card on a different thread checks Eq (almost) exclusively-- most people are in your score bracket who have this including myself... you may get the 300 limit, but maybe more with no negatives (up to 1500). Also, how about Target visa which I also think checks Eq exclusively.
Mine was lower and I got a prividian smart card with 1000, its up to $2400 now, then they sent me a platinum. Shortly after that I got a capital One Platinum 0% intro and then it went up to 14.99%. mine's only 591, but things are pending.
trout, Since how long you have this getsmart? They increased the CL after how many months, did you aks for increase or they increased automatically?
i think its different than the 'getsmart' card. Its called a smart card, but not the 'getsmart' card. They sent me offers to increase the limit for $59. I emailed them and basically laughed at them for wanting to charge me more money, just so they could then charge me again more money. It went from 1000 to 1400 really quick. Then one day i logged on to pay my bill and I was at 2400. I called them to make sure that was correct and to make sure they were not combinding this acct with the new platinum acct. They said they just reviewd my acct and increased it by 1000. That was after about a year. So far the platinum card has not increased yet, but its only a few months old. The capital one card came and I activated it, then once I found out the limit, i called to cancel it. I told they were insane to think that I would want another crdit card if it only had a 300 limit...and that the $59 annual fee was rediculious for me to pay since i already had a card with no annual fee and a much higher limit. I told them to cancel it, a few days later i recieved an offer that said if I came back to capOne they would increase my limit by 1000 and waive my annual fee. So i took it.
Are you eligible to join any credit unions? I was able to get a $1000 line from a credit union with a 9.75% and no annual fee with a 582. As I've been with them, the limit has risen to $5000.
What's the URL for that web site that has a database of credit card companies and lendors and what credit reports they pull from...maybe that would be of use to him. Hawg Hanner
www.millcbs.com Stay AWAY for Providian for your own good. If EQ is clean, you may also want to try Citibank.
he already checked mills, it did not have enought information for nj i would say target or target visa.... you can apply on the website.... you can put remaining negs in dispute mode if necessary to boost scored.
