what does that mean when you are disputing something online. It said "pending" yesterday but now its says "updated". Is that good terminology?. I cannot seem to receive the information in full until they e-mail me and give me some code number to see the actual file and I think they are holding back the results until the other two disputes I have going on are concluded. Anyone know? I do know that the last time I disputed an account and it came back unchanged it just said "Remains" or "verifyed". Thanks Diane
When it says updated, that means new info was supposedly added. The investigation on that item is complete & it remains... This is usually not good....Sorry....
Hmm, I was not trying to get the account deleted. The report posted a auto loan that as being 3 times 30 days late back in 2001. But the account had been sold to another bank later that same year and the second bank is reporting as if we were late with THEM only technically we were late with the first bank who is not listed on the CR at all. I thought I would try to dispute that I was never late with bank 2.
I got the "updated" online response and I was pleased to find that they removed all late pays from a tradeline I had asked them to delete.
