I looked on Myfico today n my score dropped from 572 to 551. And the alerts showed that 3 accounts were changed to under investigation.... I dont understand why my score would drop. How come no one told me this?

What happens will of course depend on the outcome of the dispute. But in the meantime, the account in dispute may not even be included in your credit score computation, which is why it can sometimes have an unintended effect on your scores.

So since my score dropped 20 points because of the disputes... if they don't change my score just dropped 20 points for nothing? That's bs

No, your score should return to normal if nothing changes after the disputes are complete.

What I don't understand is why you are trying to play the other man's game to start off with. We all need to learn that we cannot play the other man's game and win because we have to play by his rules. When we do that the other man wins almost every time. That's why I never bother to even check credit reports. I really don't care what the score is. Either I can get credit or I can't. Lots of people think I must be nuts or something to feel the way I do but the reality is that by doing things my way I win and the other man loses because he is expecting me to be a nice little guy and play his game by his rules which isn't going to ever happen. (LOL)

Whatever works for you is just fine with me and should be for everybody else too.
