I sent a notice of intent to sue to cbc credit services about how all my proof of their incorrect listings are hurting my report and I would sue them tomorrow at noon and one hour later they called and are removing all the crap from my report. With the judgement gone my 2 little boys will have a house of their own and I owe it all to this board.

HAHAHA. Get this. They removed an $84,000 unpaid judgement, a foreclosure with the lates, and a 5 year old paid collection. I went up- tadah. 20 points. Somebody shoot me and get it over with.

cleveland. I am glad they did the right thing. The information was listed way incorrectly. I am waiting for 2 letters of deletion from a Ca and a cc company and then I will have perfect credit.

You go girl! Here's a tip on house hunting: Don't get a house with too many windows! My ex-husband and I bought a house with 38 windows. It never occured to us that we would end up spending over $5,000.00 in draperies and blinds! Hee Hee.

House hunting is fun, and I'm glad you are finally in a position to get a house for your boys. Good Job!

    Congrats pic!

The only thing standing between me and a home is a single unpaid judgment listed only on EQ.

It's the same judgment listed 2X, once in Superior Court and once in Muni Court one monthe apart.

I just wrote to EQ and disputed because my credit report says my name is "Joe J Smith" and the judgment is listed as Joseph J Smith!

I said "there is no judgment filed for Joe J Smith which is the truth. It is filed for Joseph J Smith at a different address than mine. The only thing that matched is the SSN.

Did you speak with a plain vanilla CSR or a supervisor/manager?

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Well that answers it then.

They are too busy putting out the actual lawsuit fires they have no time to answer you until you DO file.

The wheel that squeeks the loudest gets the greese.

So start filing "notice of intent" En Masse.

    :)

Yeah but what does CBC stand for?

There's a CBCS (Credit Bur, of Columbus Services) in Columbus.

    Are they the same co.?

It should not have been there to begin with. The Cas gave incorrect verification and I had proof of it. they they started blaming each other and others. It took over a dozen hours on the phone and hundreds of calls but I finally got it off.

    Congrats, Pic!

Did you detail the violations in your letter, or just the general info like you posted? I am sending them a letter tommorow. We are already in the process of building a house, so I am in a hurry to get these things off report!
