Can anyone recommend a legitimate work from home data entry company? I need to make extra income to help repair credit damage and rebuild my savings.

Not data entry but customer support via chat and phones with Alpine Access.
They will pay you for training as well.
I worked for them for 7 months, other than the customers, the job wasn't bad at all, but trust me they'll be days where you question whether going "off" on your callers is worth your job LOL

    Good luck!

I am not trying to be rude, but let's face it--just as there is no free lunch, there is no legitimate "work-at-home" job, especially in a field such as data entry which is heavily automated, and done from India. Living in a college town, I constantly see posters, fliers, and signs posted by people advertising so-called "easy work for students", which is invariably a scam.

In my day it was the "stuffing envelopes" deal. :)

Actually, there ARE legit work at home jobs. I've worked with Arise, Shavit87 above has worked for Alpine Access and I've had at least 2 friends who worked for them as well.

Agora Marketing has work at home positions. So does Hilton Hotels.

They aren't 'data entry,' jobs, but they are legit work at home jobs.

Yes, I remember those ads in the back of magazines, and on posters which people (illegally) nailed to telephone poles advertising easy work from home stuffing envelopes. I don't know if people got smarter, or the feds got involved and shut down the companies advertising this so-called "opportunity" but I haven't seen envelope-stuffing "work" advertised for many years.
