A friend has a citi world mastercard with a 10k limit, but it has the no preset spending limit benefit like a signature card. He has had it for several months with about an 8k balance. They keep reporting 0 cl AND 0 balance. When he called to inquire they said they won't show a balance unless he goes over 10k. Anyone else have this experience?

citi has been quirky with their reporting for a few months now..
I think I read a post that said the world cards do report balances, and high balance as their CL.

This has several advantages to straight reporting :
    1. As you said, if you don't have a high balance, you can have most of your CL hidden, which could help somone with already high limits.

    2. Because they allow you to go over your limit, you can charge up to more than your real CL (for a single month) and have that show up. Can anyone say C2IT?

I just converted to world from regular AA, so it hasn't shown on my report yet, I'll let u know...
