Thread: Yellow Page Debt

Hello,

I have a corporation that went out of business. Verizon Yellow pages now is threatening me even though they cancelled 2 out of the 3 accounts when I sent them an "out of business" letter.

Now, on the 3rd account a collection agency is threatening to report it to my personal credit report.

Can they hurt my personal credit went the advertising was for a corporation?

Did you sign any kind of personal guarantee when you signed up for their services? It is my understanding that an individual cannot be held responsible for a corporation's liability unless there was a PG.
