Hope I'm posting on the right board! Being a newcomer and using your wonderful credit board often over the past 2 weeks, I have begun to read all 1,054 pages of the posts to absorb as much as I can without having to bother someone with every little question I have.

Can anyone tell me when logging off the Board for the night, how can I get back to let's say page 75 without having to go page by page. I tried putting the page number in the search box but it did nothing. Anyone know of way to get directly to a page in the middle of the posts, or am I just missing something that's real plain and easy? Thanks.

You can bookmark the page, then after you come back you can delete the bookmark.

Another way is to put the thread number after "thredid=" in the location bar of your browser.

I've done both, and they both work well.

I also set out to read every post on this board. I've been reading for over a year and I'm not to the end of 2001 yet! But I've started alternating reading the old posts and current ones.

Thanks so much for the suggestion. I will use it. And, yes, I know just what your saying for every 15 or so pages I read, I'm back at the beginning reading what I just missed! Kinda like being on a conveyor belt, you know!

I forgot to say that when I started, I sorted all the posts in ascending order, then started with the oldest. Then when you're done reading the thread, you just hit the arrow for next newer thread at the bottom. That way I started at the beginning and got things in sequence.

That's why I use the tread number. Just write it down and the next day pull up an old bookmark or something, put the current thread number in it and just keep on going.
