need help on knowing how to approach

hi , i am new to forum, i really wish i would have known about this before!! i have made some major mistakes by paying off some collections and 2 charge off, which have been paid to verizon, and here is where my question comes , i have disputed the verizon accounts as not mine and have come back verified, i sent an email via planetfback, i got a call from exc office and they told me that they are reported correct and they can not delete, and they said they could report it every month as a bad/debt collection, so i thought after it was paid they can not keep on reporting late, since the date of paid off which was back on 04/05 and its 06/06 and still comes up like that. is that legal? also it's paid charge off written off.i thought they can not write some thing off if its been paid, doesn't that mean they claimed some sort of insurance. this all confusing i don't know if to send a nutcase or a validation, this was paid directly to verizon wireless no ca. or do i demand proof from the cra??? i also have some lates back from 2004 2x60 4 x30 on old mortgage on a house i sold , 2x30 on american honda and ford credit back in 2004. what the best way to handle that? i also have an issue with my wifes student loans some have transferred back in 2000 from nelnet t0 usa group and i have disputed them and they come back verified, but they show last activity in 2001 , what should i do. i would really appreciate your help!!! also shes aout 8 student loans only 2 have not been paid , but i wonder if i pay them off would they delete them.??? please help really confused.i read on equifax that we are suppose to be notified when adverse information is going to be placed on the credit report is that true.

You need to post this in the credit forum where people will see it.
