Hello everyone, I'm brand new to this forum and as I was looking around, I didn't notice an introductions topic. Perhaps it would be nice to put in an introductions topic in this forum for new members like myself. What do you think? Thanks, Dave
The main forum is where the traffic is, so feel free to post an introduction there. You will be well received. Welcome!
New to the Site Hi, all I've been lurking around sometime now. well almost a month and reading and getting some really great and informative information. I do have one question I have disputed several items on my credit report just last week and a couple of them are been investigated and two were deleted by three of them said that they have been verified. And I'm trying to figure out how so quickly. One it gave a statement and it said verified and the number of the actuall creditor couldn't be verified so how did they verify so quickly? I did those disputes online. Should I wait for 30 days and dispute again, but this time in the form of a letter(certified)? Any information or advice will be most appreciated. Thanks bunches and bunches
My Credit 30 - Usually if someone is unreachable, like went out of business or something - there might be a collection agency verifying but hiding behind the name of the creditor. The credit reporting agency is not allowed to continue reporting if the company is no longer in business, they need to be made a ware of the status so they can check into it. If you are just talking about fast updates, it might have been sent electronically, either way, you can contact the credit reporting agency with the report number and phone number on the credit report, and ask for a decode on the subscriber, needing reporting department's address. Try to go direct to that department instead of the main direction to contact the company.
