There was talk on this board many years ago about separating forums, and it was decided not to, as a lot of subjects would cross forums.
The credit forum is for anything credit related--mortgages, loans, credit repair, bankruptcy, just anything that's credit related. This general lounge was just a place to "hang out" about off topic stuff, like jokes and TV shows.
