    Citifinancial Payment Reduction Plans?

I made the mistake 2 years ago and took out $9000.00 personal loan to pay off creditors. Last April I asked for lower payments due to job change and was put on a 6 month payment reduction plan. This expires 12/1/09.. Friday they said they were going to see if I could be approved to get another payment reduction. Today they called and said yes, I qualified but they "need to get my signature on the loan approval immediately because the window for the approval may expire" They faxed me the paperwork and I was like, well I want to take it home and look over it... they are insisting I have to get it back to them immediately. There has got to be a catch somewhere... I am just missing it.. Has anyone else had experience with Citifinancial and these deferment or payment reduction programs on loans?

lk_mom...try posting again in the main discussion forum. You'll likely get a better response.

In short, I would never sign anything I can't at least read through first. It shouldn't take long. And while I doubt there is anything fishy going on in this scenario, it's still smart to proceed cautiously.
