Happy to be back & to help

hi everyone! I was a somewhat frequent member on the credit board back in 2002-2003. Very happy to say that I filed Chp7 in August 2003 and it has now been 2 yrs since the discharge. Thank you to Doc, George, and the dozens of very helpful ppl who helped me through this. If you remember, I had a mountain of CC debt start piling up after being laid off from work. Although I had never been late on a CC payment, my creditors would not budge one inch in helping me avoid default. Across several credit cards, the fees alone reached $850 in 3 mos. By that time, I had ENOUGH & decided to let the cc companies eat it. Sad to say, but they forced me but I'm doing well.

From all the knowledge of chp7, trustees, the courts & creditors, I hope to give back to CN. All of you helpful ppl who were nonjudgemental, open-minded & caring made a huge difference to my family. It is high time to return something, so I hope this will be the beginning.

How things have changed over the past 24 months..

Nope, i have been xhardc0re for as long as I remember. Lost access to the old email address but finally rememberd the pass to retrieve access again.
Does pbm still run things well around here? Considering how the site has grown, it must take a genius to moderate a site this big :)

From all the people in my family, a special thanks to CN for helping out when the situation was dire. Especially on Christmas Day, I will remember it was the knowledge & kindness of fellow CNers that helped me and the family.

No, pbm hasn't run the site for several years. I believe CCN Steve is the current moderator.

This site isn't nearly as active as it used to be. Many have moved on to other sites such as Art of Credit.
