no clue who he is..but atleast he is a responsible person who deems it necessairy to pay their just debts. instead of relying on ''faith and god'' to come through with the money.

I guess I'm nosy enough to post again. You ask why people do not work with collectors.
Please do me a favor and go to your local bbb, attorney general, and ftc office.Do a search for collection agencies. Now you know why I won't bother myself with collectors. With the tremendous surge in dirty tactics used to get people to pay on a debt that may not even be theirs,I made my decision right then. I dealt with one collector about 8 years ago. They were professional, responded to my questions, and provided proof of debt to me. You know what I did, paid him in full and thanked him for being a professional.

if you contact a ca and you are decent to them and answer the questions honestly then you should get treated with respect. im sure many of the complaints were because the collector asked certain questions that upset the debtor. there financial situation...what is going on...what their income is...those questions are necessairy to determine what kind of payment plan..if any should be given...or if the account should be sued...

and i bet alot of the complaints were from debtors not getting what they want...removed from the cbr..its a valid tradeline it shouldnt be removed. so a debtor will make up a story and file a complaint to ''get back at the ca'' it happens frequently..how many complaints with the bbb are resolved by the ca and how many have the bbb closed in favor of the ca?

How many complaints has the bbb closed in favor of the CA? That depends more on whether or not the CA is a member of the bbb and how much they pay to support the bbb.

Don't believe that? Ask the bbb for a recommendation on the major credit bureaus. You will find that they have excellent ratings with the bbb with no unresolved complaints.

Over the years they have probably had more complaints filed against them both in and out of court than anyone would imagine and have not fared well in courts across the land. FTC has taken innumerable actions against them.

Yet they have no unresolved complaints? I wonder how much that excellent bbb report costs them a year? I'll bet they give several million a year to the bbb to get those excellent reports.

Pay them enough and they will resolve the complaint in your favor every time.

You misquote me and you mock me.

Hmm... What drives people away from dealing with CAs is that they tend to twist facts and are unpleasant to the other party.

    I'm just sayin'.....
