Just curious to see if you ran into any more problems with them after you made a payment, especially a settlement. I am dealing with Cavalry, and have a written settlement (I created alot of paper trails) from them. I just want this to be over with and am willing to pay for this.
Per your other post, the other issue to watch is the "OC" reporting. Because of the merger of BoA and MBNA; the old accounts are emerging again, and somewhat reactivating. Check the on-line websites to see if you can pull up this account. Also, monitor your credit reports to ensure that there is no new data being reported on the OC account. I don't think you will have any problem with the settlement; especially if you have the full paper trail. You will be covered there. IF, you have any future problems, it most likely will come from BoA, and a result of the merger. I know they are having a tremendoud amount of trouble with all the old MBA accounts.
