In my credit report Asset Acceptance is listing a date of the account being opened as of 12/2006, this account was opened in 2001! Also, this account was included in my bankruptcy in 2003. They also, pulled my report without my permission of course in 1/2007. That is 2 Violations right?

Same here - check to see if they are even licensed to collect in your state... I think it is illegal for them to try to collect in your state without a license?

If you have proof of this, dispute the account tradeline through the credit reporting agencies. If verified, attempt to become declined for credit of some fashion. If you acheive this, consult a consumer attorney in your jurisdiction and institute a civil action against them under the FCRA and FDCPA. They will remove the tradeline and compensate you to some extent.

In my opinion, they are not worth the effort of alternative dispute resolution; i.e., BBB or State AG offices.

I have disputed and I have also been declined for credit, I sent them a letter certified w/ return reciept, letting them know of their violations and that they have 21 days to respond to me by deleting this from my CRA and a 500 settlement, we will see what happens or I will pursue legal action.

Why are you offering to settle the account if it was included in bankruptcy and it was discharged?

I am offering them to pay me a settlement of 500.00 before I take them to court for their violations.
