Can deletions be used to aid in other deletions?

If I have succesfully had an item deleted from one credit reporting bureau's records, can I use that to help get it off other bureau's records as well? Does it help to contact them and provide proof that another bureau has already deleted the item?

Thanks in advance to anyone that may know the answer.

You'll just have to dispute with each CRA and the correct reason for disputing and wait for the results.

There are two aspects to this situation; legal requirements and real world!

    1) Per the FCRA, if you dispute a tradeline on your credit report for an error DIRECTLY to the data furnisher, and the data furnisher verifies it is an error, the data furnisher is supposed to send a Unifom Disclosure Form to all CRAs.
This does NOT apply to disputing with the CRAs directly, each conducts its own investigation and subsequent results.

    2) In the real world, using "one deletion against another" is a gamble. Luck is a real part of credit repair, sometimes you catch an error in your favor. The CRA is required to investigate directly with the data furnisher, AND they are REQUIRED to provide any information you give them. So, you may not want someone saying "woops"!

So, if you feel this is a true error, enter disputes with the other CRAs and await results. If they come back verified, request a reinvestigation using "additonal information" of another CRA unable to verify as reported. If one CRA could not verify, and deleted the TL, there is a good chance the others will also.
