So, I'm post BK7 and on the road to trying to rebuild. FP approved me, and I leaped at the chance to have an unsecured CC again. I didn't look at the fees or how they nickel and dime their customers. Anyway, I was thinking about just cancelling the card. My question is, would that hurt my already weak credit too much? Should I just keep the card, but keep the utilization way low? Also, what are some of the better 'sub prime' CCs, if there is such a thing?

If you have already taken the hit for the inquiry, you might as well first use the open TL and available credit to move toward a card with better terms before you consider closing this one.

I receive offers from them all the time but have not taken them up on their offers due to all the fees. I think you'd be better off to just get a secured card at Orchard, just too many fees on FP IMHO.

since you opened the account already you should keep it for at least a year to rebuild your credit. now you can't blame them for their fees. before you signed up for their card you should of read all their info. they are pretty upfront about all of their fees. so yes you should keep the card.
