I just checked my TC reports and I lost 9 points on my TU score!!!!!! One of my good TL a student loan has drops off of my report. The loan was from Citibank and it seems that the account has been sold to SM!!!! I am soooo freakin mad. How do I get the account back!! I have never been late. Do I call the SM or the CRA to have the account put back on? Any advice would be great. Thanks, MBB
You would write a letter to the CRA requesting positive information be added back on to your credit report. You would include proof of the account and payment history.

carreonandassociates has a form letter that may help, but you have to pay for a membership, you may google it and see what you come up with.
update Okay, so I was bent out of shape re: "lost" student loan TL. The alert on TC stated that I had lost 9 points on my TU report. I was so upset that I did not want to see my "real" FICO score. I have taken action to put positve TL back on my CR. Yesterday I bit the bullet and checked myFICO score and was very pleased to find the the missing TL added 6 points to my score! So no points were really lost. We'll see what happens next month when the TL is added back on.
Those are FAKO scores, right? Why depend on fake scores? If you are going to the effort to get your panties in a bunch, at least get the real score....the one lenders use--FICO.
Yep...the TU score was from TC and is why I checked fico soon after. Scores can take a dip from losing a positve TL. It just did not happen in this case.
