I was searching around on this site and google and Suze Ormans name keeps coming up. I've also seen her on TV and listened to her a radio station yesterday. My question is; is her product worth it? There is a product she is selling for $49.95 and I was going to purchase it right now but wanted some advice. Not only for credit repair services but also for my financial and investing well being. Although my credit is not in the best shape I do have a decent amount of investments, 401K's and IRA. Does anyone have her products or can give me advice before I purchase it?

Oops, 1 more ?. Part of the deal is I would get my 3-1 credit report and score from all 3 bureaus. Will I STILL be able to get these items since I've already had them in the last 30 days?

As far as I am aware, there is no limit on how often you can pull your reports, and get corresponding scores, if you are willing to pay for it.

I have this SO product. The service is good for one year. You can may check all three CR at once or spead them out over the year. If you get all of your CR at once you will have to pay for future CR but at a discount. However, if you want investment information, I would buy one of her books. Her kit mostly gives advice re:credit repair.
    Hope this helps.

I wouldn't pay for any of her products personally

she doesn't tell you anything you can't learn right here. Plus her bragging about her 25M net worth really irritates me. Not interested in contributing to that.

I have to admit I have learned volumes more here on CR. I bought the program before I knew of this site. 25M!!! Ouch!!

You can get the same results here on this forum, you just have to read and do some research. I would also recommend using TrueCredit, 3 reports and 3 scores and is about 15.00 a month.

If you want the convenience of everything in one "kit", perhaps the $49.95 is worth it. She does have some calculator tools which relate financial moves and impact on credit scores. I

I recommend the kit if you are just starting out in "financial planning" and trying to coordinate all the elements.

I find Suze's "advice" a bit dramatized, but that is why she is a personality. As for the financial advice end, I recommend basic subscriptions to Money Magazine and Kiplinger's Magazine, as well as a purchase of MS Money. Between these tools you pretty much have the basics covered.

Just to let you know if you go to the Equifax website there is a link to the proposed Hillis/Slack settlement. It is a current class action suit pending settlement by the court. (The link is in the lower right hand corner of the page. It's pretty small)

One of the stipulations is the removal of some of the Suze Ormond modules from My Fico. If you feel like reading all the related documentation, including the settlement offer, it becomes rather clear that these 'kits' offer little to no real value all of the information obtained from them are offered free on the Equifax and My Fico websites or by mail.

I would personally recommend staying with these boards and not wasting money on 'the kit'. You can use that money to purchase your real FICO scores or to help pay down some debt.
