I keep disputing this account with ex and tu and keeps coming back verified . i have sent two dv and recieved no answer except for a form asking for a copy of my dl and ss#. I am tring to but a house at the beginning of the next and i need an agressive method to remove these fools. Thanks in advance
Have you called them to find out what this account is for, or do you know what is for? Obviously a letter is not working a phone call might give you information on the account now, which is what you want.
How are your disputing this account? What are your dispute reason(s)? Remember, a CA does NOT have to answer a DV request, unless it is within the 30 day of first receipt. If the time frame has gone beyond that, you may have to try other methods. Have you tried a direct verification request with the OC? Not to discourage you, but keep in mind that (at best) tough cases like this may take years to deal with. There are no quick fixes, sometimes you get lucky, but you cannot count on that. So, if there are grounds that this is an account that is being reported in complete error, your best bet may be to go straight to an attorney to immediately began legal processes. Check with your state's Bar Association for attorneys in your area who specialize in these matters.
