    Sorry, I forgot this question.

The one biggest TL I wanted deleted was verified with no change.

It is a reposession of a vehicle with HSCB for $14,613.

This is not my account. It is my x-husbands. We did not attain it when we were married. He got it after we were divorced so it is no way, shape or form mine! And I'm sure this is substantially hurting my credit score. As a matter of fact, I tried to get a car loan a couple of months ago and they told me the repossesion was the mai reason I didn't get it.

Do I dispute with the OC now? It was the CRA (transunion) that verified it)

Dispute with both, examine the dates on the tradeline, and if you have divorce papers proving your divorce was before the loan was originated, you should be clear. Same with the OC.

A sour note here, is it possible your "ex" took out the loan in your name also, without you knowing it? My point here is you may find yourself having to file fraud charges if this is the case. Just, be prepared to go the distance......

Thanks, I never even thought about my divorce papers. I just looked at them and the car was bought after the divorce.

I know for a fact he didn't get the loan in my name because I couldn't get a loan at that time due to my credit.

    Never assume!

I would write, and call, the finance company and ask for a copy of the loan agreement papers (you are entitled since you are listed on the credit reports!). Just verify that you weren't put down as a co-borrower.

Also, check with the (most likely) city where the auto may be registered, make sure you are not listed on the registration of the vehicle either.
