Hi. I have a really quick question. Can an attorneys' office pull a credit report? Also, can they pull a report twice within a two day period?

    Thank you.

By the way, one was a hard pull, one was a soft pull.

Why did they pull your cr? Are they trying to collect on a debt?

Yes, they are. Reading threads and not sure if I am clear on the facts, but it seems the only one that can pull your report, at least a hard inquiry, can be the actual creditor. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not?

3rd party debt collectors, including attorneys can pull credit reports unless they are being sued by the person whose credit report they pulled.
