    Hi,

If I were to default on my cell phone ATT would report it to the CRAs. Right?

However, I have a great, long-time history with them, yet they don't report it.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get them to report it?

I have about 5 years' of perfect history I would love to get "credit" for.

    THanks
    JG

Have you tried requesting them to report it?

Cell phone companies are like any other utility companies - they do not report anything to credit reporting agencies. If you default on payments they will hassle you for a while and if you still don't pay they refer the account to a collection agency, and then it goes on your credit reports. But the cell phone co. itself or any other utility outfit will never report good payment histories
