I was kicked out of True Credit and they are not giving me a reason. Just looking to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Yeah, I was thrown out a couple of weeks ago. They said I was trying to bump off my inquiries by pulling every day. But I only had 4 inquiries. When I complained, they just said that they have to maintain high standards. So instead of fixing this "glitch", they just throw you out.

I was pulling everyday for months at a time as I was working on repairing inaccuracies in my credit but when I got everything ok, I stopped doing that and THEN they kicked me out.

Apparently from what I have now found out, they are doing this to LOTS of people. In spite of the fact that one of the things on their homepage clearly states: Your credit scores and reports, everyday if you, if you take advantage of what you paid for you will be penalized.

Add me and tons of others I know to that list.
    They are going bonkers.

Hmmmm . . . let's ban folks from our product for USING OUR PRODUCT! This makes perfect sense!

Can't we all band together and sue for false advertising? CREDITNETTERS UNITE!

The big reason they are giving is that the consumer is "abusing the system to gain credit report advantages".
How odd they blame the consumer when they developed the product and took our money for it, yet it is our fault.

PrivacyGuard did this three or four (maybe five) years ago.

Yup, they said they are "investigating" my file. When I called they specifically asked me if I was veiwing my credit in order to bump inquiries off my credit. I told him that I did not have any inquiries, so that is definetely not the reason.
If after their investigation they deny me the right to purchase my credit through them (which they are currently doing), I will take this to a higher level.
By the way, he gave me a time frame of 5 days for the investigation to be complete, and I called this in on Tuesday the 9th.
So I will keep everyone informed.

Tell them you want credit for the time you are unable to access the report.

I went to Privacy Guard and cannot find the update button. Does anyone have them and can tell me how to update my report please.
    Thank you

Well, its official....anything I can do to to get back on?

"You recently contacted our Customer Service department in regard to our notification that your TrueCredit membership and billing was being frozen due to excessive access to your account. As our customer service team communicated, our Compliance Department has reviewed your account in order to see if you qualified for reinstatement.

After a thorough investigation, it is our conclusion that your account should not be reinstated due to an access pattern which indicates potential fraud or a deliberate intent to tamper with the credit scoring system. Your access, billing and all account related email alerts have now permanently been terminated as a result.

While we regret any inconvenience this may cause you, it is our policy to protect the security and integrity of the credit reporting system.

    TrueCredit Legal and Compliance Department"

I am so sorry this happened to you. Does anyone else see this as bogus? Why doesn't TrueCredit (TransUnion) spell out clearly in their Terms of Service the number of times you can access your account?? I don't understand what yardstick they are using here.
On the web page it says, "Unlimited access to ALL THREE of your credit reports and credit scores." ($14.95 a month) Everyday if you want...[indeed.]
Grrrrrrr. Counts to ten...as she goes to take a walk.

Well, my wife is now banned because . . . she is my wife. I'm serious. They banned her because she resides in my household and apparently, she's a fraud by osmosis.

Up next are all of my unborn children.

    Apex,

Is there anything I (we) can do about this. Is this not false advertising? "check your credit report everyday if you want!"
Who can I call to their department?
I truly used truecredit to monitor my credit, not to bump inquiries off! And the other option is to use equifax which is way more expensive than truecredit.

Well you could sue them for breach of contract and certain U.C.C. claims but, it wouldn't be worth your time. The court would just enjoin them and make the allow you back in. Either that or just refund the money which is more likely since this wouldn't be an irreparable harm.

Personally, just laugh it off . . .

Yeah, I got kicked out a few weeks ago. I just think it's stupid more than anything else. I got the same form response that they didn't think I should be reinstated after the investigation. They're the ones advertising that you can check your reports every month. It's their system that keeps you from doing it more often than every 24 hours, and it's their system that must be allowing the exploit to the scoring model. Oh well, it would be nice if someone would put them out of business for running such a shoddy program. At least I got my refund on the last month. You would think competition would crop up.

Apex - how bout them 'eers! I was surprised at the So Fl loss tho. Odds are good going into Rutgers.
