Again, if this is such a bothersome item, you may want to contact Apex about handling it professionally.

A review of your scores highlights that Apex is probably correct about incorrect data fields pulling down your score severly. There is a good chance that the FICO model is not "reading" this account correctly, and calculating it as a newer debt. This is evidenced by a 38 point variance in your scores (assuming all other info is the same). The hard point to undrstand that the FICO model does not "read" the accounts as we do on a credit report; it reads "code" as entered into the system. We are blind to that code, though the written tradeline, and comments, may look identical.

I thought this guy wanted some help, huh, Biz? You know . . . I can tell them all day long what is wrong with it but, it ain't coming off without knowing the right people.

One of those situations where it really doesn't matter what you know rather, who you know . . .

    Oh well, we're trying right?

Exactly, as it is all about results. As with any problem, there are times when "it's over your head", and the best solution is to engage a professional. I'm certain that it would be an economical solution as well. I wish the poster good luck.

I suugest checking out the website, they list fees I beleive. I believe it will be more than reasonable.

If this one had been really bothering you, and I appreciate how the"last one" can, this is probably the best method.

Let us know how it works out.
