I have 2 OCs on violations after going thru the dispute process. What do I do now?

One continues to verify late payments.....(after the account was paid via settlement). Settlement in Feb...shows 30-60-90 in april, may, june

The other shows account is still open/late 6 months after paid settlement...plus account is in charge off status. Settlement was in Feb...shows not paid until November.

I know I probably will have to sue...I have no experience how to do this...what forms, FCRA or FCBA references, etc??

    thank you!

Do you have your settlement agreement in writing? Did it close out the debt so that there is no more balance due?

Sometimes they use weasly words to get you to send some money saying "We'll settle for $X, today." To them, that means "we'll take $X today and argue over the rest later." While, to you, that might mean "We'll take $x and call it even."

In the worst case that can just reset the clock on the debt and enable them to charge more interest and late fees.

You might need to read the fine print before you start filing law suits...

I would consult a consumer attorney in your jurisdiction. Some do work on a contigency basis.

Check out NACA; i.e., National Association of Consumer Attorneys. Google it and once there, call some within your state.
