I am pretty sure that this isn't the name of the law firm-
Or do you mean that this is NCO's lawyers?

NSF would be NCO's gurus. I want to here more about the class action. The claims, who's the class' attorney, and all that juicy stuff. Been to the Volvo yet?

My guess is failure to mark accounts as being disputed. Notorious for that or either suing people with only Affidavits.

It is for calling more than twice a week.
Plaintiffs lawyers are John Roddy Gary Klein Elizabeth Ryan
    Boston..

Ewww . . . the ole' abuse and harassment proviso. I don't see that as a very good claim in of itself.

My inclination is that they're hoping they fold in light of the past FTC hammering. I relied on that a few times and was wrong to do so but, I digress.

Actually is a class action suit that NCO has decided to settle before court to the tune of 400K plus.
    They admit no wrong doing.
I am not so sure why I was sent a letter from NCO as I wrote them a letter once and then poof they were gone.
I guess they knew they called me more than several times a week.
Would you explain your last paragraph a bit more?
    Thanks
    Woofer

Really, do you have the case cite. I haven't heard of it. For what it's worth, 400k is pittance.

They were hammered by the FTC to the tune of 1.5M.

Well I thought 400K was not much but then again anything they have to pay up is something.

Alycia Sanders Plaintiff Civil action 1:06=cv-11059-NMG
Lawsuit filed on June 16 2006 Massachusetts District Court

Oh and reading further they also have to pay another 220K in lawyer fees.

I'll have to look at that. NSF isn't the brightest bulb on the tree in my opinion and it looks like they took one on the chin.

I guess calling two times is excessive. I wouldn't think it so but, again, this is NCO. God knows what were on some of the tapes.

So the fact that I got a paper to join in for my little pittance was because they must have had me on their list?
Should I sent the paperwork back?
    Thanks

May as well unless you intend to opt out of the class and sue them individually.

Isn't it odd though that NCO sent this not Roddy and group?
