I disputed an item with Equifax online and it got removed but they added a consumer statement which I did not request. I emailed them to remove it will they? or is this also a difficult process? If needed I can fax paperwork related to this dispute.
This is a bit confusing, as when a item is "deleted", it is gone entirely, with no statement. Can you detail what the entire tradeline(account) states?
That's different! I suggest writing a dispute letter stating that you never requested this statement be added. Add that this information is inaccurate.
