I looked up Nana's old post and didn't appear anyone had added to it in over two years as to what card's they were able to get post BK. We have found Washington Mutual to be very friendly amongst the cards everyone knows. What about Home Depot or Lowe's? Anyone having luck with them? Feel free to list out who's been good to work with in these crazy times. Thanks!
Forget Home Depot - their credit card applications are going through Citibank, one, if not THE, most unfriendly post bankruptcy creditors. Find out which bank Lowe's is processed by. If Citi, Chase, or B of A - forget it. Try Orchard and/or Household. While they start you out with low limits and impose annual fees, they are considered the best cards to re-establish credit after bankruptcy.
Lowes and Walmart (GEMB) both issued cards a little after two years after BK in case anyone wants one.
