I have never gotten into IDOL before, but I had tuned in when it started this round and heard this guys voice and I then would always check in to hear him sing. I think HE IS GOING TO BE THE WINNER!!!!! Woofer
Yup, and the songs they have made him sing, YIKES, not favs of mine but that voice. Very much like Dave Matthews in sound. Funny like I said, just was changing the channel when it first came on and he was singing, and I stay tuned in,and for me he was the winner when first heard. : ) Woofer
Like I said I never watched Idol before, however I saw Daughtry on some show recently, loved his music and checked out who is was, to find out he was on Idol,or was the winner? Anyway,I like them both. : ) Woofer
Daughtry wasn't the winner, he came in second. On American Idol, the best performer always comes in second. I have a theory about this. Consider Clay Aiken/Ruben Studdard. Ruben won, Clay came in second. Clay sold a gazillion records even though he didn't win. Ruben, the winner, sold a lot of records but not as many as Clay. So, how many records would Ruben have sold had he not been the winner of American Idol? I'm guessing not many. The producers of Am Idol own a record company. All of the finalists have signed contracts that they can't record for another company, unless the Idol-owned company releases them. So Clay and Ruben both sold records for this company. How much money would this company have lost if Clay Aiken won? Clay would probably have sold the same number of records, but Ruben would not. Same with Daughtry -- he's done quite well after coming in second. So that's my pet theory -- the better performer always places second, in order to maximize the company's profits.
We at Creditnet are split half in favor of Cook and half in favor of Archeleta. But we are all in agreement that Fantasia's performance was one of the scariest things we've seen in a long time.
Apparently, Jordin Sparks has a hemorraged vocal chord. Not sure of how that is going to affect the rest of her career though. I have had callouses on my vocal chords in the pst, and was told to rest my voice for awhile. A hemmorage sounds much more serious. Blondie08

Well I am not surprised. ; ) Like i have said I never had watched this show before nd last night , I thought the show was really good as far as entertainment. Loved seeing *The Pips* ; ) Academy Awards should have a show so entertaining. I WOULD buy music of David Cook. I WOULD NOT buy music of David A. Too Teenie Bopper For Me! Thought David C looked right at home with ZZ Top ! Seems to me that David Cook is a good guy and deserves his just rewards. Congrats to you Mr.Cook. Oh yes, you have a wicked smile.: ) Woofer
