I owed them $5000 when I stopped paying. I am willing to pay it but I dont have access to anything more than what I am offering.

    Dear Sirs

I wish to make an offer of settlement on this account. I am able to make a payment of $100 per month on this account and I will make 50 of them for a total of $5000. If you agree to this arangement you will send me a bill each month. I will then send a money order to you in the amount of $100. When 50 payments of $100 are made Bank of America agrees to consider this debt paid in full. Also Bank of America afrees to remove this trade lines from my credit report.

Will it work? I always say nothing ventured, nothing gained but in this case I'm thinking NO.

Let them make a offer first, and negotiate from there.
