Just wanted to thank all of you for VERY sound advice. I have been reading these posts for several months and figured, Hey what do I have to loose? I started by "shaking the tree" on the 18th of July. Three dropped off by the 22 of July. Most of my bad debt (whoops, I mean it's not mine, prove it) is over 4 years old. I sent registered letters out on the 18th also, I'm taking the "is this guy nuts or what?" approach. My FICO went from 494 (bright score) to TU 588 / EXP 590 / EQU 619 in 4 days!!! (I just got the tru credit 3 report today)
Keep in mind I realize most people don't get results this quickly, looks like I caught them sleeping, or with thier hand in the cookie jar! I also have the money to pay in full, but in the infamous words of "SASSY" PROVE IT!!!!

TruCredit is great for tracking what is on your report and what has come off. But the scores they show you are useless.

Is there a better way to track individual scores?

Did you just send debt validation letters? I am trying to get my 3(1 listed twice with CAs) debts off, all got very late and I made a settlement payment.

I sent "nutcase" letters a week or so ago, still waiting on a response or for it to reflect.

Yes I disputed all debt with the three credit breaus, 3 CA's dropped off in two days (debt was listed as collection from 2003) saved $878.00 each there. I believe mabe zombie debt? No Idea what that amount was for. I also sent Val letters to all negative on my report. I should have read Doc's post first though. GRRRR stupid me. Should have waited for the results of the disputes, then asked for the documentation as to how the CA verified it from the CRA. Remember, patience is a virtue, and in my case I really don't care if I get sued, I can pay it all, and my final after VAL2 request will be to settle for deletion, if they don't commit any violations that is. :)
