This card does not show up on my credit report and I have received a summons for it. Any thoughts on why it does not show up? It doesn't show under the negative accounts or anywhere else.

You need to call the court to find out who's suing you you have to appear or the will get a default judgement.you might consider getting a attorney. Are you sure it's your's.

It shows Citibank, NA on the summons and the lawyer's are Weltman, Weinberg & Reis. I am just stumped as to why it is not on my credit report anywhere.

How old was this account? Negative tradelines fall off after 7 years.

As to your other question regarding the summons, what state do you live in, and what is your state'a SOL?
They might have fallen off your CR, but if your state's SOL is more than 7 years you still have to worry about getting sued.

And by the way - Citibank is in charge of AT & Universal credit card portfolio.

I am still in the SOL for KY

I guess I am wondering why it never showed on the credit report as a good or bad account even when it was AT&T Universal. I check my report every year, and it was not on there last year either.

I am going to send a settlement letter, but do I send it to the law firm or Citi? I know Citi is tough, but I can be also. I am trying to get this to stay out of court. Also, t

Are you sure that the account is actually yours??? Before you attempt to settle try to get a detailed validation.
If Citi sold the account to the collection agency, you will have to deal with the collection agency. If Citi just assigned the account to the CA you might be able to deal with Citi.
