I check my cc's every morning. This morning i found a late fee on my credit one.I called and got hold of bombay bob who informed me that i had transposed the wrong numbers.it's a auto pay and i've used the number for 18 months which i explained to him However he didn't seem to understand,so i demanded the late fee removed well 2 supervisors later i got it removed.had to make another payment.why in god's name do they have people answer the phone who can't really help you?

What do you expect - Bombay Bob is in Bombay, India. Southerners with their draaawl are hard to understand too.

    Watch out you D@*! Yankees

    Don't be hatin' on drawls.

We were on vacation this summer, and my 15 yr old was chatting with some people. She said, "Mom, they had me pegged as being Texan really fast. I guess my drawl is getting worse."

"What did you say to them?

    "Where YALL from".

Hon, they had you on the 2nd word.

On this same vacation, which was actually a collegiate athletic showcase, her team played (and beat!!!) some Californians. At the post-game meet and greet -

Californians - "Do you guys really say YALL?"

My kid, she makes me so proud sometimes, replied - "Why? YALL don't?"

How right you are!! It is some of the best. Big Bob Gibson's BBQ was created in the same city that I am from. I am sure you have heard of them. They have a segment that they do on one of the outdoor channels (can't remember which one). And I believe that they started selling franchises a few years ago.

stop messing up with the thread YALL LMAO,,,,

anyway to be back in track, I found Cap One the easiest to have a 30 days late removed from my cr, just go ahead and ask for a supervisor, if you are hispanic, ask for a spanish speaker dude, I dont know if that really matters or not, but prepare a good reason, mine was, and they will remove it...

however, I need to ask this, they removed the 30 days late but also removed the previous history, NOTHING IS PERFECT right,,,, I dont know to call back and ask to get it fixed because maybe the 30days late will show up again, should I????? sorry for hijacking this thread anyway,

Shouldn't hurt you. If its reporting the date opened, and there is nothing neg, then I believe FICO will factor it as positive.

Look at it this way, Experian only reports negative history - it does not report monthly on times (or OKs), on their bureau reports.
