I have an account that is on my CR 2 times with 2 diffrent CA. It IS THE SAME thing.How should I put a letter to have them prove to me who owns the debt? I allready looked in the letters on here but could not find what I needed! Thanks a bunch.
Send each a dv letter then ask for doc,for proved of ownership.But i believe they both can report it,you may have to sue
Its probably been bought and sold and rebought and resold. Look at your reports and see when the last time either creditor updated the account. There is likely one that has not updated it in quite some time. They probably don't have the account anymore.
