Is a final verizon statement enough to satisfy validation?

My wife has AFNI TLs on TU and EX. I disputed it with the CRAs and AFNI. AFNI validated with the CRAs. I sent AFNI a letter requesting validation and they sent a letter back stating they needed more info. I just sent out a letter in response to that one stating that I had no info because it's an unknown debt and that they are now passed the 30 day mark (even though it doesn't account for much.) I just checked the mail and a letter from AFNI is there which includes a copy of a Verizon statement, with the bill date of January 10, 2002 and the payment due date as "due upon receipt." At the top right of the statement, it says "Final Bill."

First, is that enough for AFNI to have validated the debt? The account is in my wife's name, but it's for an address she never lived at. Her signature is not on it.

Second, the SOL for NY is, I believe, six years. Is that January 10, 2002 date the date of last activity? If so, I can write AFNI stating it's passed the SOL and to remove the TLs immediately, but I don't want to do that unless I'm certain that 1/10/02 is the correct date to use.

Also, I'm assuming I can use this verizon statement against the CRAs for allowing entries that are passed the SOL?
    Thanks!

It's 6 years in ny.Being past the sol does,'t stop from them trying to collecting. As report's stay on for 7 years.and it still won't stop them. You can dispute the address she can dispute as not mine never lived at that address.
