I have the $ now and am fully able to pay it all of. It isn't even $100. Should I wait until I get my first physical bill or should I just pay it now (6 days removed from purchase) Thanks in advanced
Take advantage of the float they provide you and just pay it all off when you receive the bill. Don't forget about it though! People tend to do that a lot with retail cards. If you're worried you might forget about it, I suggest paying it off right away.
Thanks Jhalx I am trying to figure out if look any better/worse if I pay it off instantly as opposed to taking advantage of the float period. How does this usually work? Will I get more credit for waiting or paying it off instantly? Thanks
Your credit score will not be affected by how quickly you pay it off. As long as you pay the minimum by the due date the credit issuer will report to the bureaus that you paid on time. You don't get any sort of "extra" benefit for paying it early. So, I suggest you take advantage of the float and then pay the balance in full by the due date.
Won't make a bit of difference. Just wait for the paper statement to come and then pay it. They will increase your credit limit when they review your account - probably after 6 months or one year.
