i am having issues with one creditor on my report. this is what it says.

    transunion
    closed
    0 Balance
    120 days late
    0 past due
    date open 8/2002
    date Reported 4/2006

    Experian
    derogatory
    0 balance
    foreclosed
    0 past due
    opened 8/2002
    date reported 5/2006

    Equifax
    derogatory
    0 balance
    120 days past due
    0 past due
    open 8/2002
    date reported 8/2008

not sure what to dispute. i know the two say derogatory but i thought if it had a zero balance it was not derogatory. i thought it had to state it was closed. i am not sure where to go from here. i have tried to dispute that i did not agree with the accounting history and nothing changed...

    any sugestions is greatly apprieciated.

Write them and ask them point blank:
If the balances are 0/zero why TF are you reporting these as derogatory
Delete the word derogatory or I will be forced into reporting you, and possibly look into legal remedies.

It's reporting as derogatory because there was a 120 day late, even though there is currently a zero balance.

Is the account still open, or has it been closed?

it should be a closed account we no longer have the house it has been sold and the account was paid in full.

Why does 2 say 2006 reported and the other 2008 shouldn't it be the same as the other>

Maybe the creditor is still reporting to TU but not the others. That's the date it was last reported, not delinquency date.
